Steps to reproduce

1. Install and launch Firefox for Android.
2. Tap the search bar or the new tab icon.
3. Tap on the microphone icon and perform a voice search.

Expected behavior

The keyboard is displayed.
The search term is properly loaded and appears in the search bar highlighted.

Actual behavior

The keyboard is hidden and the search term is not highlighted.

Device information

• Firefox version: Nightly 124.0a1 (2024-02-14), RC 123.0 (2024-02-13)
• Android device model: Samsung Galaxy A23, Pixel 7
• Android OS version: Android 13

Yes, it is a regression caused by the fix in bug 1821706. I'll fix this for the voice input case.

Hi,
I've tested this scenario and the part with the keyboard displayed looks fixed now.
However the search term is still not highlighted.
Is this the intended behavior or the issue is only partially fixed?

Device used for testing: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (Android 14).
Build tested: Latest Nightly (125.0a1 from 2024-03-18).
