To improve accessibility and ease of reading, we want to introduce a dropdown for font weight in the Reader menu. This will require a new pref in libpref/init/all.js and an entry in AsyncPrefs.sys.mjs. The existing dropdown component in the design system can be used for the UI.
The dropdown will offer Regular, Light, and Bold options, with Regular being the default. The Light and Bold styles will be set by specifying font-weight in CSS, however a future improvement would be to detect the actual font styles in the typeface.
