User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:123.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/123.0
Steps to reproduce:
Composed one email. In the midst of composing the first email I started composing a second email. I went back to the first email, finished composing it and sent it (or at least I thought I did.) Went back to second email and canceled the composition.
Actual results:
TB hung when I canceled the second email with a rotating rainbow circle. I had to kill TB. It also appears the first email didn't get sent even though I had pressed Send.
Expected results:
Second email composition should have been canceled. First email should have been sent.
I've attached the MacOS crash report text.

I'm on a MacBook Pro Retina 13" Late 2013 running MacOS 11.7.10 Big Sur.
Hi, thank you for reporting on this! I can't reproduce this on TB 115.8, on MacOs 14.2.1. Are you still able to reproduce this bug?

I tried to reproduce it, as best as I could remember the sequence that lead to it. It didn't reproduce. I'll keep trying, but I don't have high hopes. Probably requires some special sequence or timing or something about the state of the mail server.
