In both 'Table View' and 'Cards View'
Whether using 'View' > 'Layout' > 'Classic' or 'Vertical'
If Message List contains few emails so a blank area is seen below list:
Actual Results
- There is a scrollbar on the right.
- This scrollbar is only the background section showing chevrons top and bottom.
- It does not contain the moveable part of a normal scrollbar.
Expected Results
- No scrollbar.
This issue has also been reported in the Support Forum. That user is using the current release 115.8

I do not see this on Mac nightly.
I do see this on Windows 115.
Heather, do you see this on Linux?

I tested the tarballs on fedora and tested the default cards view (the vertical list pane). The only scrollbar I see is on the actual message (rightmost pane) and only if the message is long enough to warrant a scrollbar. So I don't see this issue on linux 125.0b1 nightly, nor on the 124.0b1 version in the initial report.
