Expected results:
Stored session and autostart should run only one instance of Thuunderbird. Was not reproduced for thunderbird-102.11.0.

Cannot reproduce with Thunderbird 158.0.1 on Linux (ALT Sisyphus, MATE 1.28, X11).
Thunderbird in MATE autostart plus "Automatically remember running applications on logout", logged out and in three times: one window every time.
MATE still launches Thunderbird twice on login (once from the saved session, once from autostart). The second process hands off to the first one, which only focuses its existing window.
