Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64
Firefox version: Firefox Nightly 125.0a1 (2024-03-10)
Preconditions:
Clean profile
Steps to reproduce:
- Navigate to: https://www.google.com/maps/
- Input a destination and click on "Indications".
- Select a departure point or arrival point (as asked by the page)
- Hit enter and observe the result.
Expected Behavior:
The route preview transition is smooth
Actual Behavior:
The route preview transition is janky
Notes:
- Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP
- Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release
- Works as expected using Chrome
- Best observed for very long routes
- Screenrec attached
- Issue found during WebCompat team [Top100] websites testing
