This is not a bug, rather an enhancement since this was the behavior previously as well. Attaching the video from version 124 release. Also, turning down the severity to s3 since it isn't a bug.

Mentioning bug 1884769 as related for expected behavior for the translations interaction. I do not think bug 1884769 caused a regression since it landed on 4/11 and this was reported 4/10, but thought I'd mention it as an additional behavioral expectation for when we solve this bug.
