Steps to reproduce:

On Firefox 125 (Developer Edition) and Firefox 123 I captured Firefox profiles to demonstrate performance regression on Firefox 124. For each browser, I performed the following steps:

1. Start recording performance profiler
2. Load a 2 streams on kick.com
3. Capture profile

Actual results:

Firefox 125 consumes consistently much higher CPU.

Expected results:

Performance like Firefox 123 and earlier.

From Attachment 9399073 [details], GPU is Intel Gen12 GPU, then it seems similar to Bug 1881569.

Intel Gen12 also has a performance problem of hardware video decoder(Bug 1888354 , Bug 1890622). Part of the problem is addressed by Bug 1888354.
