On most of my systems I use Mozilla with multiple user profiles, so I can use
Mozilla and Netscape at a time. It would be great if I could set a "default
profile", so if I start Mozilla, it first tries the defaut profile and lets me
select another profile _only_ if the default profile can not be used.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a web page
2. Be angry about the "waste of time" when selecting a profile (it could be faster).

Why do you not use "mozilla -p Profilename" ?

Because that is very uneffective: I have to add this to all file extensions in
Windows; I don't know how Unix-systems handle this, but if there would be a
little option in Mozilla, it would also be easier & faster to use.
Bug 97622 will probably fix this. If Michael does not like what is proposed
there, this is a dupe of bug 162280.
there's actually a bug with a patch to add a default profile option.
