In bug 1892479, we added the legacy client ID to the backup manifest meta property. Data science wants this client ID to be compared with the client ID that is inherited from the "profile that initiated recovery" in the post-recovery phase to set / send telemetry on whether or not this was a same-device or new-device recovery.
