Steps to reproduce:

Save the bug.html attached to this bug report. Use firefox nightly firefox-nightly_127.0a120240506214401_amd64.deb and see the background color on the input. Open it with firefox-nightly_127.0a120240507091307_amd64.deb, see the background color is white.

Actual results:

Background color is white

Expected results:

Background color is not white.

That was markdown:

• firefox-nightly_127.0a1~20240506214401_amd64.deb and earlier shows a colored password input field.
