Details

Steps to reproduce:

Try to find a recently sent email in my sent folder.

Actual results:

If I search manually the message is there, but if I use quick filter, it doesn't appear.

Expected results:

Show my message(s)

Can you give an example of exactly what you're searching for, and what/where it should match, please?

Quick Filter search will only search on specific data. In the case of a 'Sent' folder - The email address of 'Recipient', the 'display name' if included as part of email address, the 'Subject' and the 'Body' content of email - assuming those search options have been selected.

I would advise if you have an issue it's a good idea to ask a question in the Thunderbird Support Forum first as you can get help from the community. Often things get sorted out and issue is not a bug. However, bugzilla is not a help forum.

You need to provided requested information to support your claim of a bug.
Images showing Quick Filter search in action - what is the search criteria and what filters are selected and results. Also require image showing specific email which clearly shows the search criteria. eg: You have searched on a word which is part of the Subject and image showing that email Subject.
