Summary: Missing doctypes `pageload` and `use-counters` in `firefox-desktop-background-defaultagent.use-counters` namespace → Missing doctypes `pageload` and `use-counters` in `firefox-desktop-background-defaultagent` namespace

Update: firefox-desktop-background-defaultagent.use-counters currently showing 583190 doctypes missing.

We're getting 500k pageload and 600k use-counters pings from firefox-desktop-background-defaultagent per week.

:chutten - do you know if that is expected? Should we add gecko as a dependency to firefox_desktop_background_defaultagent in probe-scraper?

Reading https://github.com/mozilla/probe-scraper/blob/876f4af3e72004503f4aab5e7734778cccb9bd79/repositories.yaml#L459-L462 I wouldn't expect these pings to be sent here.

(( This sort of thing (pings from gecko showing up in Firefox's background tasks) just keeps coming up, doesn't it. (e.g. bug 1802988) ))

I wouldn't think any pages or documents would load in background default agent. ni?nalexander -- this might be a sign of an inefficiency in background tasks that can be repaired. Also: do you want any of this data? I don't think we do, but maybe, I dunno, we show web content in notifications or whatever.
