Petr, there's a SunOS-specific path in that code that adds -L{dist}/bin to the linker flags. I wonder if it's actually useful? You can test it without that patch being applied by setting
MOZ_FIX_LINK_PATHS=""
in https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/source/old-configure.in#422

Yes, this is still needed. Without it there are the same problems as was reported in original bug.
