In Quick Filter, the option to search anywhere, i.e. in the entire message, was implemented in bug 271222 but this feature is no longer present in TB 115.6.1. Since this is a useful feature (24 votes, 5 duplicates), this option should be brought back to Quick Filter and also added to Tools > Message Filters.
This would also be consistent with the request to search the entire message in bug 229142.

I can't comment on why this was removed or change, but please don't comment on old bugs that are long-closed. We don't generally re-open old bugs, and those comments can will likely get lost.
Also changing this from a dependency to a see-also - this bug isn't really requiring that one to be implemented first.
