User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:128.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/128.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open about:preferences
- Search for the new "Website advertising preferences" section by typing "advertising" in the "Find in settings" search box at the top right
Actual results:
Empty search results with the message:
"""
Sorry! There are no results in Settings for "advertising".
"""
Expected results:
The "Website advertising preferences" section should have been shown, with all the options in that section.
Searching for other sections (e.g., the "Firefox Data Collection and Use" section by searching for "data coll") does return the expected results.
See the attached screenshot for exactly what I see.
Untested guess, but in https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/source/browser/components/preferences/privacy.inc.xhtml#1035 I think this line:
<html:h1 data-l10n-id="website-advertising-header"/>
should be:
<html:h1 data-l10n-id="website-advertising-header" data-l10n-attrs="searchkeywords"/>

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Settings UI' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
