Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the latest Nightly 130.0a1 with the toolbar redesign enabled.
  2. Open a website which contains a bottom menu, such as pinterest.com, instagram.com, facebook.com, soundcloud.com, x.com, canva.com, aliexpress.com, linkedin.com.
  3. Change the device orientation to Landscape mode.
  4. Scroll up and down on the website and observe the bottom menu.

Expected behavior

The bottom bar/menu should remain stuck to the bottom on the screen in Landscape mode.

Actual behavior

An empty space is displayed between the website menu and bottom of the screen in landscape mode, since the navigation bar is no longer displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Device information

  • Firefox version: Nightly 130.0a1 from 07/17
  • Android device model: Google Pixel 8 Pro, Samsung GalaxyZ Fold 4
  • Android OS version: Android 14, Android 13

Additional information

The bottom bar/menu remains stuck to the bottom on the screen in Portrait mode.
