Steps to reproduce:

  1. Update flatpak thunderbird from flathub
  2. Open thunderbird
  3. Notice pop-up saying a different version of thunderbird was used for this profile, and thus a new profile needs to be created.

Actual results:

Version reported on flatpak went from 128.0esr to 115.13.0, causing the bug.

Expected results:

Version should go up after updates for the flatpak package, not down, to avoid profile errors.

Temporary fix for other users impacted by this bug:

flatpak mask --user org.mozilla.Thunderbird
