Seen while working on bug 1906657.
Seems like this is a known limitation but something that can be improved as part of the linked ticket.

Verified as fixed in the latest Nightly 130.0a1 from 07/31 with Google Pixel 8 Pro (Android 14).
The "Syncing..." snackbar is displayed after logging in with both QR code and email.
