Environment:
Operating system: Windows 10
Firefox version: Firefox 130.0a1 (2024-07-22)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to https://www.twitch.tv
  2. Open any live stream.
  3. Observe the behavior.

Expected Behavior:
The streams play correctly.

Actual Behavior:
Buffering animation displayed even if the streams play fine.

Notes:

  • Reproduces regardless of the status of ETP
  • Reproduces in Firefox Nightly
  • Does not reproduce in Firefox Release, and Chrome

Note: I'm not quite sure how valid this regression is, it might reproduce randomly on some Nightly version. My first run I've tried mozregression -g 2024-07-15 -b 2024-07-22 and both versions did not reproduce when testing with direct link to a stream. On the second (the one above) I've tried with STR mozregression -g 2024-07-01 -b 2024-07-22.
