Step to Reproduce

  • Open any website (example: www.wikipedia.com)
  • Click on the Three Dot Menu, then "Find in Page"
  • Type any word that has at least two occurences in the page
  • Click the "Next occurence" button

Expected result

The searchbar remains visible so that we can navigate to the next occurences until finding the one we're insterested in

Actual result

The searchbar is closed

Device information

  • Samsung S24, Android 14
  • reproducible on Firefox 129 and 130

The bug is not reproducible on Release (128).

What happens if
after clicking "Next occurence" and seeing the navbar
you scroll up/down the webpage?

This seems to be the same as bug 1908620.

Oh yes indeed, if I scroll then the toolbar hides and I see the searchbar that was hidden behind.

Should we close this one as a duplicate?

Great!
Not really great.. but bug 1908620 should be fixed shortly.
So I agree that this can then be closed as a duplicates, thanks!
