Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:128.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/128.0
Steps to reproduce:
Open Firefox to any tab (new tab works fine), it has to be the only open tab
Press CTRL+S and then CTRL+W in quick succession (must be fast)
Observe save file dialog hang and Firefox doesn't fully close unless you use Windows to fully close Firefox manually
Actual results:
Firefox hangs and doesn't close
Expected results:
Firefox should let me continue saving the page, or simply close the dialog so it doesn't stay stuck open
Only tested on Windows Firefox, unsure about results on other platforms.
This is also an issue with any other save dialog related features, although harder to time you can do with things such as save link as, save img as, etc

Decided to give it a test on Linux, bug is not present on my Arch installation using KDE Plasma, save dialog opens instantly and blocks the window from getting ctrl w or any other closing feature, maybe an issue on other environments but unsure, but thought it was worth noting since it's an issue related to the Windows explorer save dialog..

Yup. This is a known issue, and moving the file dialog out-of-process averts it. (With an asterisk involving debug builds of Firefox, though that doesn't matter to most people.)
That's been done and is finally riding the trains out, so it should be fixed for almost all users as of Firefox 130.
