User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:129.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/129.0
Steps to reproduce:
I click on the magnifying glass + icon in the search box. The list of icons for my preferred websites drops down. I click on any of them & nothing happens.
Actual results:
The icons don't work to bring up my preferred website. This just started with the latest Firefox update 129.0 yesterday.
Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS jammy
Expected results:
Clicking an icon should bring up the website.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
I have the same issue since upgrading to 129.0, too. Also typing anything into the search bar then clicking on a search engine results in no search at all.
