Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:129.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/129.0

Steps to reproduce:

Here are some more minor issues collected over years, parts of which I already reported with no success.

Actual results:

  1. When I close the window after editing a draft and it was auto-saved after a certain time, I always get a pop-up forcing me to choose either "Discard", "Cancel" or "Save", even if no further changes have been made after the last save.

  2. Sometimes, HTML links are recognized and can be clicked, sometimes they are just shown as regular text. Why? It would be nice if it were possible to select such a link and have a menu item "Open link" (as it is in FF) instead of having to paste it into a browser manually.

  3. Starting with the new UI (?), text typed into the quick filter field is partially "swallowed" and only single chars make it into the input field. I never saw this in earlier versions.

  4. The old UI showed a number next to the "More" button for a longer list of recipients. Now, the exact number is missing.

Expected results:

  1. No questions, just close the window.

  2. Provide a menu to open the link in the default browser.

  3. Use the correct text for the filter.

  4. Show the number.

From the top of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Thunderbird&format=guided, "Please report only a single problem at a time."

Thanks.

This would mean very much clicking and very much overhead.
