I want to synch my new Win10 laptop to my phone. Previous laptop (now dead) was synched. Firefox on laptop shows a QR square. I open a new tab and use the QR symbol at the top right. It reads the QR. Firefox on laptop says "go to menu and tap "synch and save data"
Menu does not have "sych and save data" see attached.

Sorry you are seeing this - it's very odd and something has clearly got confused. Are you able to reliably reproduce that the main menu always showing "Account Info" rather than "Synchronise and save data"? Further, have you previously been logged in an account on your Android device, or is this your first attempt at connecting your Android browser to your account?

I managed to reproduce this once - I suspect there's a race condition but it's not clear exactly why to me yet. I'll keep poking.

I have used Firefox almost exclusively for 15+ years, starting with a XP desktop through 3 (now 4) laptops. I used Firefox on mobile since I got a S6 back in 2015. I wanted to get my new laptop (correction: Win 11, not 10) to sync with my S21. The sync did take place, somehow.
BTW, I'm still seeing search results that show Firefox remembers the tabs when my old laptop died. It would be handy if I could see a list of those tabs, because there are a few I'm having trouble finding again, remembering only content that hasn't helped to locate, and there were ideas I was chasing that I haven't recaptured.

It seems likely these are just in your history rather than tabs. But if it's been less than a month, the about:sync addon might list tabs from your old devices.
It sounds like otherwise you have what you need, so I'll close this for now, but feel free to reopen or open a new bug if the problem persists.
