Details

(Keywords: memory-footprint)

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030131
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030131

When I start Mozilla it takes about 18mb RAM.
After starting Mail (Ctrl+2) mozilla's memory usage goes up
to 80mb and above. I guess that it loads all mails in RAM.
(I do have a few thousand stored)
I think mail will be slower (especially for searches) if not all messages
are loaded at startup, so I'm not sure if this really should be fixed...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Receive many mails ;)
2. start mozilla
3. start mozilla-mail

Actual Results:
memory usage incrases very much

Expected Results:
not so much memory should be needed ;)
Dupe.
