Steps to reproduce:

Hi. I've been using Thunderbird for a long time and I'm very grateful for all your work on it so far. I'd like to report a bug that seems quite serious, especially if Thunderbird is used by a visually impaired person...

If I change the font size, e.g. to 20px, using "Menu" > "Font Size"...

Actual results:

...font size change does not occur in some dialog windows, such as "Write", "New task", "New event". Screenshot with descriptions attached.

Expected results:

I suppose changing the font should have an effect throughout the entire interface.

Using Windows 10 OS
testing using beta 130.0b3

Increase font size, e.g. to 20px, using "Menu" > "Font Size"...
Events and Tasks
select 'New Event' or 'New Task'

Actual Result
All using original default font size of 12px

Expected Result
Both use Font size as set in "Menu" > "Font Size"...

Click on 'Write'
Actual Result
All menus and area with From,To,Cc Subject and Formatting bar all as expected using large font. OK.

However, the 'Contacts Sidebar' is not using Font size as set in "Menu" > "Font Size"... - this is a problem.
The word 'Contacts' at the top is using large font, but address books, search contacts, list of contacts and the various 'Add to To' etc buttons are not using the large font.

The content where you type font size depends upon settigs used here - but works as expected.
Settings > General - Language & Appearance
click on 'Advanced' set font size to eg: 20 for both Latin and Other Writing Systems'
Settings > Composition - HTML size 'Mediun' - so it uses the font size as set up in line above.

Expected Result'
Everything including all Toolbars, Menus and Contacts Sidebar to use font size as set up in "Menu" > "Font Size"...
The composition area to use the Font Size set up in Settings as mentioned above.

I can reproduce the above issues.
