Steps to reproduce:
Searched for an event in the past or distant future using the Find Events search field in the Calendar pane.
Actual results:
No past events or events beyond 12 months in the future are found, as the Find Events function is now limited to preset dropdown options which require a restricted time period and mostly between now and the limited future.
Expected results:
In previous versions you could search (1) all events and (2) future events, which would return unlimited past or future events.
I cannot see a reason to have removed this. There are many reasons to need to search for past events in particular.
