Steps to reproduce:

128.2.0esr (32-bit)

Click on the Order By column to arrange mail such that the newest mail is at the bottom of the window

Click get mail

click Unread

read all mail such that no unread mail shows

unclick unread

Actual results:

The read mail is now no longer ordered with the newest mail at the bottom of the window

Expected results:

The read mail should still be ordered with the newest mail at the bottom of the window.

Do you mean the "Order Received" column? Then that's bug 1774455 which will be fixed in 128.2.1esr.
