Since version 128.2.0 opening a .eml file opens the main app and the expected email message

Steps to reproduce:

Double-click a .eml file

Actual results:

Opens two windows, the main TB window (unnecessary) and the message window (what is expected)

Expected results:

Only one window should open, the email message window, which has less functionality than the main app window, that's ok for quick reading of an old message saved as an .eml file.

If you need more functionality, you can simply drag&drop the .eml file to the main app window.

This is how it has been for many versions of TB until 128.2.0.

Correct, this was a deliberate change in bug 1800423.
