(Keywords: regression, Whiteboard: [regression 128.2.1esr -> 128.2.2esr])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:130.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/130.0

Steps to reproduce:

Updated from 128.2.1esr to 128.2.2 esr
tried to access my gmail account

Actual results:

thunderbird hands then fails

Expected results:

it should work. reverted so 128.2.1esr and it works as expecgted

For what it's worth I do connect to my google calendar using the native Thunderbird support.

If you go into the settings, and in the config editor look up any oauth2.scope prefs, what are their values? Please take note and paste them into this bug.

You can then try resetting them and restarting, which likely helps.

Whiteboard: [regression 128.2.1esr -> 128.2.2esr]

I had reverted to 128.2.1esr. Now when I go to "about" it says that's the latest version.
Do I need to force install 128.2.2esr to help you or should I wait until the dust settles?

Similar issues. One private mail server, one outlook365 garbage, neither of them wanted to receive email after updating my flatpak this morning. Interestingly my calendars (nextcloud) were also broken.

For others in need of a quick fix; downgrade to 128.2.1esr:
flatpak update --commit=55023991639f541be7473c49f4a6ae3d2b328c2b39adcdb2064e7419ed646866 org.mozilla.Thunderbird
