1919667 - 128.2.2 does not display messages from Apple Mail when attachment present

Steps to reproduce:

Click on any email with an attachment that is sent from Apple Mail.
(attachment-emails from other sources are fine and non-attachment emails from Apple Mail are fine)

Actual results:

Message pane displays blank From and Subject fields. (They're visible in the list of messages above)

Instead of message body, I get some odd headers, and then a long alphanumeric string. There is an attachment at the bottom: "Part 1.1" , though it takes a while to display that if the attachment is large.

This happens on all attachment-bearing messages sent from Apple Mail (even from my iPhone).

Expected results:

Normally, I expect to see the From and Subject fields. And I expect to see the message body text. And the attachment.

Problem is not 100% consistent. I was able to take a screenshot on iPhone and view the message in TB 128.

Right click the folder and in the folder properties, use Repair Folder. Does that help?
If not, please attach a sample mail as .eml

And if you have, does 128.3.3 or newer solve it for you?

I’ve noticed other unrelated bugs, but not this one again.

Hi Wayne,

I update regularly so I’m usually on the latest release for mass consumption.

There is an annoying bug where I start typing in the message filter Field and the first few characters disappear. it doesn’t happen all of the time. I could try to replicate it and record it.

That’s the one I’ve noticed the most. The others aren’t super ingrained in my head because they seem to be intermittent.

Knowing that you’re interested, I’ll try to be more vigilant in reporting them.
