RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1356938

People

(Reporter: ischiamartino, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:128.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/128.0

Steps to reproduce:

Imported a backed up email (gmail) whose contents were exported in a zip file. The account was closed by the company.

Actual results:

I cannot see the emails.
But by creating a new profile it worked fine. For a bit. Maybe at a certain point, after trying to log in, I guess some synchronization happened (possibly, it received the bad news that the account does not exist anymore?), making my inbox empty. (yes, I have then put it in offline mode. But after this error happened, I cannot remedy anymore, on that profile. I tried to delete the account and re-import it, but it shows just an empty folder).

Expected results:

Since I am not much familiar with the concept of profiles, and I would like to just keep everything on my main profile, I would like to be able to import this account again in my main profile (and I guess move it to a local folder. No, moving files around in the file system is not a solution because the directory structure of the email account is quite complex)

(just to clarify, it was not me trying to log in, just the login thing popping out, then me closing it and setting offline mode)
