User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:132.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/132.0
Steps to reproduce:

performance profile of my actions
Actual results:
Installed Thunderbird and was using it normally. Everything was working fine. After changing my Gmail pass word, everything slowed down dramatically. Stopped getting notifs on time. MEssages took ages to load. Reinstalled, cleared my profile, tried ugradfing to beta, added exceptions for my profile and the exe on Windows Defender (this worked for 30 mins. My TB was very fast, but it slowed down again), disabled all extensions, did another clean install, but nothing seems to work.
Expected results:
Loading of mails normally
My Specs - i7 12700H, 3070Ti, 32GB RAM
300 Mbps internet connection
mail provider - Google

Does this get any better if you set the preference accessibility.force_disabled to 1 and restart Thunderbird?
Nope doesn't change anything unfortunately. It's happening only with this account across other devices too. My other Google account is working perfectly

We've seen multiple reports of slowness after authenticating. No idea yet what is going on.
Until more concrete ideas are suggested, please see https://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird:Testing:Memory_Usage_Problems

Mentioned in https://www.reddit.com/r/Thunderbird/comments/1h9wlge/comment/m17acbz/ - try disabling status bar.
worked well for 5 mins after disabling the status bar, now the issue is back.
https://share.firefox.dev/4gcbxqT
new performance capture
So far, I've had 2 temp fixes: adding exceptions to the AV and disabling the status bar. Both worked well for 5 mins before the same issues started appearing.

Thanks.
Until we hear from others, perhaps try Windows started in safe mode.

My other Google account is working perfectly
If this is happening for one account but not others, that suggests to me it's the content of the account causing the problem. Can you narrow it down to any particular folder?
Tried safe mode as well, no luck.
Not happening because of a particular folder either, I turned downloads for all of them off and even the smaller folders are struggling.

(In reply to Wayne Mery (:wsmwk) from comment #10)
How is 128.8.0?
Or 140 available in a couple weeks.
