Compacting results in "The folder 'Trash can on <imap account name>' can not be compacted, because writing to the folder failed." - for Compact All (only!). Works if I only compact that specific folder.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:133.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/133.0
Steps to reproduce:
Everyday when I am done with sending emails, I empty my trash can, then I compact all the folders.
Today I downloaded 128.5.2esr (64 bits) and I am getting an error when compacting folders.
Actual results:
I am pressing compact folders when I am in the root of the folder tree, it compacts normally until it gets to the Trash Can.
I get the following message:
The folder 'Trash can on Mark Imap' can not be compacted, because writing to the folder failed. Verify that you have enough disk space, and that you have write privileges to the file system, then try again
This only appears right after I have emptied my Trash can.
I also try to the delete the .msf file but that only works when nothing went in the Trash can. If I fill the Trash can up again and then empty, The compacting error appears again.
Expected results:
There should be no warning whatsoever, and before this update, I never had that warning.

Thank you for reporting this. Were you on 128.5.1esr prior to 128.5.2esr? The following will help find your update history: Help->Troubleshooting Information->Show Update History
Strangely enough, it says that there were never any updates installed.
I also found out that if I right click the Trash can I can compress it but If I select all the maps or the root folder, it gives the original error.

I was able to recreate this on 128.5.2esr. I'll can't right now, but I'll try some other releases soon.

This has been happening to me for a while now when Trash is empty (last happened in 134.0b3 (64-bit))

I was marked as a duplicate of another bug that is already being used for the same issue.

Which version did you use before, was it 128.5.1 ?

With the trash folder?
If you look at the respective file on disk, has it size zero?

The trash file on every of the 6 accounts is file size zero, all the accounts (with different providers), all have the same error when compacting, so either all the 6 accounts are suddenly corrupted or TB has a problem.
The problem with the version is that I honestly do not know, the last update seems to be in july this year, so probably just before the 1st version of 128.
I only noticed it when I installed this version that the NEBULA logo was there and the theme was different.
