Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 the removal of many items in the download manager takes several minutes to finish, using a lot of CPU power, slowing down the PC and making Mozilla unresponsive. Even removal of a few items in a long list of downloads is very slow. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download many files 2. Open Download Manager 3. Select all files (CTRL+A) 4. Press 'Remove from List' button 5. Wait several minutes Actual Results: Mozilla becomes unresponsive. Slowdown on all running applications. Expected Results: Quickly removed all the files in the list. My PC is an Intel Pentium III 600 Mhz with 128Mb RAM
After waiting, Mozilla is again working, but Download Manager shows an empty downloaded file (that was not actually downloaded) wich can't be removed - the filename shown in the status bar is 'downloads.rdf'
Summary: slow remove of items from download manager list → slow remove of items from download manager list
