It seems we're not waiting for the test to paint reliably... The "Test" screenshot is the previous reftest. Tim do you know off-hand what might be going on?

Is it maybe a canvas problem?

There seem to be a few different failure modes. Sometimes the test is wrong, sometimes the reference is wrong. Sometimes it shows the previous test, sometimes it shows blank. There is an error in the logs in every case I checked about a PCanvas failure.

This seems a lot like bug 1871578. Which has been pinpointed to a specific regressor.

I'm going to guess that any newly frequent reftest failure recently is likely to have the same root cause.
