User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:134.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/134.0
Steps to reproduce:
Attempted to change text color. Text Color box with HTML color string field appears. Clicking on "Choose a color" box, the Mac OS color gamuts appear. Clicking on any color does not report the color code in the Text Color field, where it should be presented after choosing a color from the gamuts.
Actual results:
No color code change in the HTML color sting field in the Text Color dialog box
Expected results:
Color code should appear in the "HTML color string" field of the Text Color/Background Color dialog box, after choosing a color from the Mac OS color gamut popup box.
Confirmed. The issue likely existed before 128.

The issue is a little different in Windows. After the color gamut appears, dragging the mouse cursor over the colors does not "hot change" the Text Color field. The field is populated after pressing the OK button on the gamut dialog box.

On Mac the system color gamut window remains on screen (as a separate system window) after closing the color change dialog, and is not functional for further color assignments. Unless automated somehow, users will have to close the existing color gamut box and reopen a new one to make further assignment changes.
