User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:134.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/134.0

Steps to reproduce:

I have created a template with the fields CC, Body, and Attachments filled.

I use Thunderbird 128.6.0esr (64-bit) on Ubuntu 22.04.

Actual results:

When I create an email from this template, only the CC field is filled. The Body and Attachments fields are empty. At the same time, when I just look at the template, all fields are there (saved).

Expected results:

The new draft of the email from the template should have all fields filled in the template to be prefilled as well.

Please see the attached screenshot: it shows the actual template on the right side with the fields Subject and Body prefilled.

On the left side, the draft of an email from this template is shown. It has only the Subject field prefilled. The body text has evaporated for an unknown reason. The same happens if I add any attachments to a template.

It looks like you are signing with s/mime correct? That is a regression that will be fixed in 128.6.1esr.
