Release Note Request (optional, but appreciated)
[Why is this notable]: AV1 for WebRTC enables lower bitrate for the same quality video, or better quality video for the same bitrate as older video codecs, improving the situation for users doing video conferencing on bandwidth-constrained or paid networks.
[Affects Firefox for Android]: Yes
[Suggested wording]: Firefox now supports sending and receiving the AV1 video codec over WebRTC. For sending, both singlecast and simulcast are supported.
[Links (documentation, blog post, etc)]:
Might be good to coordinate with the relnote on bug 1210175 since I mentioned "H264 is the second video codec after VP8 to be supported for sending simulcast" there..

On dev-doc mostly a release note for devs is needed. This bug is a prerequisite of bug 1932065 so perhaps we should merge those two release notes.

Thanks, added to the Fx136 nightly release notes, please allow 30 minutes for the site to update.
Keeping the relnote-firefox flag as ? to keep it on the radar for inclusion in the final Fx136 release notes.
