Firefox version: Nightly 137.0a1 (2025-02-03)

Preconditions:

• Clean profile

Steps to reproduce:

1. Navigate to: aliexpress.com
2. Click on the flag to change the country
3. Click on the country field
4. Scroll down
5. Observe

Expected Behavior:
The flags are displayed correctly

Actual Behavior:
The flags are smaller and overlap with the search field

Notes:

• Reproducible on the latest Firefox Release and Nightly
• Works as expected using Chrome
• Issue found during WebCompat team [Top100] websites testing

Yeah so this is kinda regressed-but-not-really because it was broken before we shipped zoom:

.country-flag-y2023 { -moz-transform: none }

as an intervention should fix it.

No, I don't think this is important enough to uplift. This bug should be left open until it's fully resolved, however.

:diannaS, the flags appear larger than they otherwise do, and don't overlap with the magnifying glass, as the images on the first comment on this bug show.

I'm no longer seeing the flags-related problems on their site whether prefixed-transforms are enabled or disabled, so we can remove our intervention.

There's no real need to. The old intervention isn't harming anything, it's just no longer really needed. It can go away with the next train.
