One legal requirement for this article is that we state that these signatures are not legally-binding e-signatures. So perhaps we have an FAQ question like
Q: Is this feature the same as a legal electronic signature (e-signature)?
A: No, Firefox PDF signatures are not equivalent to a legally binding electronic signatures.

This means we should not use the terms "electronic signature" or "e-signature" to describe the feature.

Just for your context, here are some articles that describe what an actual e-signature is:

Thanks, I just reviewed and left some comments!

Dayani, is there a placeholder link that you can share for this?

Dayani, is there a placeholder link that you can share for this?

Right here https://support.mozilla.org/kb/view-pdf-files-firefox-or-choose-another-viewer

The https://support.mozilla.org/kb/view-pdf-files-firefox-or-choose-another-viewer article was just updated with new content.

See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/view-pdf-files-firefox-or-choose-another-viewer/history - I have a revision to add {for fx137} markup to the new "Add a signature to a PDF" section. Dayani, can you review?

See also bug 1946738 comment 1 - Is this a progressive rollout? If so, we should add Template:progressiverollout above the new section.

Flags: needinfo?(dgalindo)

The Firefox 137 release notes indicate that this feature is part of a progressive rollout.

Flags: needinfo?(dgalindo)

The View and edit PDF files using Firefox’s built-in viewer article was approved with {for fx137} and [[Template:progressiverollout]] markup for the new "Add a signature to a PDF" section. For the record, Firefox Beta 138 users won't see the new content because of bug 1957915, which I filed yesterday. (Nightly 139 users also won't see the new content because of bug 1743073.) The fix for bug 1743073 allows both Firefox 138 Beta and 139 Nightly to see fx137 content.

Should we close this bug now?

Flags: needinfo?(dgalindo)

Know why the DE version of the article doesn't contain the new info?

DE version appears updated to me. Content is live, closing ticket.
