CalDAV calendar asking for saved password

Steps to reproduce:
- Have Thunderbird on macOS, many versions of the app and system back, still present in latest stable versions.
- Have a CalDAV account on a different server than your e-mail account
- Have a username different from your e-mail address.
- Add a CalDAV calendar, insert username and password, save it to the macOS Keychain
- Quit and open Thunderbird
Actual results:
With every start, Thunderbird re-asks for the password in a dialog window, with an e-mail of the CalDAV account pre-filled (incorrectly). Calendars from the account showed with the "Enable" button in the list. Other CalDAVs with the username same as e-mail and at the same server works correctly.
Expected results:
Load the calendar with the correct credentials saved.

Did it work earlier? In which version?

It never worked as far as I remember (I’m back with Thunderbird desktop for about a year and half after years of not using it). It’s a Nextcloud server, with app password.
