Steps to reproduce:
Starting in 136 (or 135?) when a media element is playing in a tab the sound icon will be placed next to the favicon (not on the favicon anymore, thanks!).
However also the tab is getting very small in its width – see picture.
As soon the playback is stopped the width bounces back to its original width.
I think this is highly irritating and also illogical.

This regression will be fixed in Firefox 137 per bug 1945993.
Until then, you can use a custom style rule (applied through a userChrome.css file) as a workaround to override the built-in rules for tab width. That's beyond the scope of Bugzilla comments, but you can take a look at the following:
