STR:
- Set browser.ml.linkPreview.enabled to true
- Set browser.ml.linkPreview.allowedLanguages to en,de
- Open https://www.soeren-hentzschel.at/, hold Option + Shift and move the cursor to the headline "Firefox 138: Link-Vorschau mit lokaler KI-Zusammenfassung"
Actual:
The key points show two question mark symbols where an umlaut should be: "??ber"
Expected:
"??ber" should be "über".

renamed bug 1955248 to include umlaut example. we did try to reduce likelihood with bug 1957054 allowedLanguages as you've noticed with your STR, but underlying issue is there
