Steps to reproduce

1. Set Firefox to use the system theme
2. Remain on the settings screen (it it heavy on UI elements and can help more easily see an issue. Might also be more susceptible to be affected)
3. Put Firefox in background
4. Cycle through dark/light system theme
5. Cycle through various device orientations
6. Cycle through other applications
7. Return to Firefox

Expected behavior

• All UI elements match the expected UI for the current system theme

Actual behavior

• Highly inconsistent theming - mostly the reverse of the expected colors

Any additional information?

• Very hard to reproduce. The above STRs do not guarantee the issue but in 50-100 tries you might get it.

Tested it more and found another detail which might help increase the changes of reproducing this: cycling through device orientations also while in background.
Was able to also reproduce the issue in the current 137 release.
