Prerequisites:
Found on 140.0a1 (2025-05-05) (64-bit)
STR:
- Turn on NVDA
- Open Nightly
- In this step you can find any link. I chose to go to Google Scholar and search 'accessibility'
- Using the tab key, move NVDA focus to any link.
- Press
Shift + Altto get the Link Preview to appear - Press F6 to move focus into the Link Preview. Focus will first move to the URL bar and when F6 is pressed again, focus should move into the Link Preview
- NVDA will read off the Link Preview from top to bottom. Compare what is read aloud with what is visible in the link preview
Actual:
NVDA will read the first line/the link, skips the hyperlink containing the link name, and then reads the summary underneath the hyperlink
Expected:
NVDA should read everything from top to bottom and left to right
