Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 15; Mobile; rv:140.0) Gecko/140.0 Firefox/140.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable Secret Settings
  2. Go to Secret Settings

Actual results:

"Enable Navigation Toolbar" was not available from the Secret Settings, as a side effect, the forward button was missing if "Enable Menu Redesign" was selected.

Expected results:

"Enable Navigation Toolbar" should be in the Secret Settings, since "Enable Menu Redesign" requires it to be functional

Why did this secret setting disappear?

I'm no longer working on the toolbar redesign (Navigation Toolbar) project, but my understanding is that the project is paused and will be replaced by a different new toolbar design.

Sören, can you please get someone to update the first post on that Mozilla Connect page? I don't think Jon has seen my needinfo request.

I do not work for Mozilla and have no special contacts. So I can't help you there.

I don't manage Connect, but I know the Android team has been working on UI redesign recently.

See https://support.mozilla.org/kb/explore-firefox-android-menu

I'm unsure if it relates to the said Connect page, though.
