Steps to reproduce:
Go to new tab
Click on menu for weather widget
Mouse down (don't release yet) outside popup
See bug
Release mouse
See menu disapear
Actual results:
Menu got clipped to shape of widget
When mouse release, popup closed
Expected results:
Menu should have been fully dismissed on mouse down outside it

I managed to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 22 x64 and Windows 11 x64 while using Firefox 138.0.4, Nightly 140.0a1 and Firefox 139.0b10.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
