Prerequisites:

Found on 141.0a1 (2025-05-26) (64-bit)

STR:

  1. Find any link. I chose to go to Google Scholar and search 'accessibility'
  2. Using the tab key, move focus to any link.
  3. Press Shift + F10 to open the context menu
  4. Using the arrow keys, move focus down to Preview Link. Press ENTER
  5. The Link Preview will appear on screen. Press F6 to move focus into the Link Preview. Focus will first move to the URL bar and when F6 is pressed again, focus should move into the Link Preview
  6. Tab to ^ caret icon button and Key Points heading and press ENTER. Observe behavior

Actual:

At this time you can click the ^ caret icon button with the mouse and the panel will collapse. Clicking again expands the panel. When using the steps above to do the same thing with keyboard, nothing happens.

Screen recording (no audio)

Expected:

Since you can expand and collapse the panel using the mouse, you should be able to do the same thing using the ENTER key on the keyboard

Recommendation: To remediate this, use the ARIA disclosure pattern or details and summary elements

Accessibility Severity: --- → s3
